Twila: This little creature was accepted into the
2004 Beads and Beyond exhibit in Bellevue,
WA.  She is beaded on felt, and her legs are
made out of polymer over a wire armature.  I
found the cab face at a bead store in Ashland,
OR, and I'm sorry to say I don't know who the
artist was.  The body design is my own.
This chameleon represents my wish to visit, and my love of Madascar.  Chameleons are such
amazing creatures, and someday I dream of seeing them in their natural habitat.
Is it a Crocodile, a dragon?  You decide.  This all started from
a conversation I had with my five year old about whether or
not crocodiles in heaven had wings.  I'm also a huge fan of
Steve Irwin and the Crocodile Hunter, so it's a tribute to all
the important conservation work that he does.
This hummingbird just complete!  I have had a
year of rest since I completed the ladybug
almost exaclty a year ago, but the muse is
back!  This hummingbird is my own
design/pattern, the beak is polymer clay and
the wings are peacock feathers.  Any name
suggestions?
